Katharine is committed to working with the Charter’s growing network of 70 signatories to improve gender balance and enable women to succeed at all levels in the Defence Sector.

Commenting on her appointment, Katharine Sealy, said: “Having worked in Defence for nearly all of my career, I have seen a lot of positive progress in improving female representation across our industry.

"I am very much looking forward to working with the Women in Defence Charter signatories to continue driving change and highlighting the value that can be delivered by increasing diversity in our workforce.  Achieving 30% female representation by 2030 is an ambitious goal but one I am confident we can both meet and exceed with the right focus and support.”
