Acron Aviation extends B737NG training with Arik Air to 2029

Acron Aviation has secured a multiyear contract extension with Arik Air, reinforcing a long-standing partnership and confirming Acron Aviation as Arik Air’s exclusive provider of B737NG Full Flight Simulator (FFS) training.

Under the terms of the extended agreement, through to 2029, Arik Air has agreed that all its B737NG FFS training requirements will be delivered exclusively by Acron Aviation, utilising its global training footprint, including the London Training Centre (LTC).

The contract extension ensures Arik Air’s flight crews receive consistent, high-quality simulator training delivered to the highest international standards, and benefit from operational continuity, optimised scheduling, and access to experienced instructors and modern, reliable training facilities.

Patrick Davis, General Manager, Training Services at Acron Aviation, said: “This contract extension, and agreement to exclusivity, is a strong endorsement of Arik Air’s confidence in our training solutions, facilities and, most importantly, our people.” Davis continued, “We are proud to continue supporting Arik Air’s operations and look forward to strengthening our partnership over the next three years.”

Arik Air is Nigeria’s largest commercial airline and a key operator within West and Central Africa, serving major domestic and regional routes. The airline plays a vital role in regional connectivity, supporting business, tourism, and economic growth across its network.
