Aerco introduces MABAC miniature D38999 connectors

Aerco has announced that it now supplies the AB Connector range of MABAC miniature D38999 connectors that provide D38999 Series III performance in a smaller, lighter package making them ideal for aviation, industrial applications and wearable equipment for military personnel.

These new connectors make it possible to transmit at least as much data as MIL-DTL38999 Series III connectors with size and weight savings of up to 50%.

Available in bayonet, threaded and push-pull versions the MABAC range provides MIL-DTL-38999 Series III capability in shell size 3, the smallest connector available. Easy to wire and handle and with an integrated backshell that accommodates a heat shrink boot and braid retention band, the MABAC series is also compliant with over-moulding.

Available in three shells sizes - of three, five and seven - and retaining the 100% scoop proof and EMI shielding properties of the original D38999 Series III connectors, MABAC connectors have a high grade thermoplastic insert, silicone elastomer grommet and sealing and operating temperature range from 55° to 175°C.
