AIA appoints Jason Yaley VP of Membership & Strategic Development

America's Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) has named Jason Yaley as its Vice President of Membership & Strategic Development.

In this role he will lead the organization’s membership engagement and business development activity and oversee AIA’s Supplier Management Council, focusing on solutions to issues and opportunities facing the aerospace and defense supply chain.

“I’m excited for Jason to take the helm of our membership and strategic development efforts,” said AIA President and CEO Eric Fanning.  “I’ve known Jason for years, working with him at the Pentagon and now here at AIA.  His experience and his understanding of our industry will help us to grow AIA and advance the important work of our industry.”

Prior to being named Vice President, jason (right) served as AIA’s Assistant Vice President for Communications, where he helped lead the association’s industry and issue advocacy and worked closely with member companies to tell the industry’s story in the United States and around the world.

“From the largest multinational corporations to the smallest family-owned businesses, AIA’s member companies make American strength, security, and prosperity a reality.  I can’t think of a more exciting time to be partnering with this innovative industry and focusing on the opportunities for our supply chain,” said Yaley.

Before joining AIA, Yaley was a career civil servant with the Department of Defense, most recently as The Special Assistant to the Air Force Chief of Staff, and served on the staffs of the Joint Staff, US Northern Command, and Air Combat Command focused on external affairs and strategic planning.
