Amethyst Risk Management doubles its information and cyber security training portfolio
The Basingstoke, Hampshire-based company, which specialises in accreditation of data centres, cloud hosted applications, military and aerospace platforms and systems, has announced it has developed a new range of training courses to supplement its existing information assurance training packages. Many of the new updated courses replace those previously delivered by the National School of Government (NSG) and continue to be delivered by Harvey Mattinson, Peter Fischer and other experienced Amethyst CLAS Consultants.
Amethyst provides accredited training for all those working and providing services to the public sector that have a responsibility for Information Assurance and Cyber security. Amethyst is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 and all staff have government security clearances to access data protectively marked up to Secret (Security Check), with the majority of consultants cleared to access information protectively marked up to Top Secret (Developed Vetting).
Amethyst is working closely with the Institute of Information Security Professionals (IISP) to align the training courses with their Security Skills Framework and achieve IISP certification.
The new courses beginning in September or October include: Introduction to Information Assurance, HMG Risk Management (IS1&2), Secure Delivery of Online Services, Audit, Monitoring and Managing Incidents, Managing Accreditation, and SIRO/IAO - Roles & Responsibilities.
