ARINC Engineering Services awarded US DHS prime contract

A multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract, it has a five-year performance period with a maximum total value of $3 billion.
To fulfill the requirements of the contract, ARINC will work with several subcontractors, including: QinetiQ-North America; Serco, Inc.; Sage Systems Technologies; Wireless Infrastructure Services; Alutiiq Global Solutions; JM Waller Associates; and Zavda Technologies.
As a leading provider of interoperable communications, systems engineering, and integration solutions, ARINC may provide a variety of services under TacCom. These services could include communication site development, RF system analysis and design, environmental and logistics support, site construction and system implementation.

TacCom was established to provide a full array of communications hardware, infrastructure services and sustainment support to the Department of Homeland Security, its components and partner agencies. These include the White House Communications Agency and the US Departments of State, Justice and Interior.
