Since leaving the RAF, Greg has built a distinguished portfolio career across the aerospace and defence industry. He has held senior roles at Cobham plc, AirTanker Ltd and Ultra Electronics Ltd and served as an Executive Director on the Board of Cobham Ltd following its transition to private ownership. He has been a non-Executive Member of the NATS (National Air Traffic Services) Board since 2022.

Greg is President of the UK Air and Space Power Association, a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) and a Distinguished Fellow of the Royal United Service Institute (RUSI). He chairs senior programmes at the Windsor Leadership Trust and serves as a trustee of Flying for Freedom, a charity that enables wounded, injured and sick service personnel to fly solo in microlights.

Greg Bagwell said: “I am delighted to join ASG Aerospace as Executive Chairman at such an exciting time for the business and the industry. The Group is going from strength to strength and is well placed to support its growing customer base across the aerospace and semiconductor sectors.”

Simon Weston, Chief Executive Officer, said: “Greg’s appointment marks an important milestone for ASG Aerospace. His operational background and deep understanding of the aerospace and defence sectors make him an outstanding addition to our leadership. We are well positioned for the next phase of our growth and Greg’s experience will be invaluable as we continue to build on our reputation as a trusted, high-performing supplier.”
