Avtrade purchases Embraer E190 aircraft for teardown

Avtrade has added to its aircraft acquisition programme from the Middle East and Africa with the purchase of ex Flynas Embraer E190LR aircraft (MSN 19000232).

Purchased from the lessor, the serviceable aircraft, manufactured in December 2008 with just over 11,000 flight hours, the deal is for the complete airframe minus core engines

This acquisition follows the recent purchase of ex Virgin Nigeria Embraer aircraft E190 (MSN 19000210), manufactured in 2008 and with exceptionally low flight hours of 5,804. This was also a complete serviceable aircraft minus core engines. Avtrade’s purchase of this aircraft was the first non-incident related Embraer acquisition for teardown in the world.

Both aircraft will be parted out to provide Avtrade with dedicated inventory, certified to both EASA and FAA release, for sale, loan or exchange. Components will be fully serviceable, tagged and ready for shipment for Avtrade’s UK Logistics Centre.

These component assets will support Avtrade’s worldwide customers who operate the popular E170/E190 narrow-bodied, medium-range aircraft around the world and be available through any of Avtrade’s strategic global locations and 24/7 AOG service.
