  • A 17-month extension, also effective from November 2020, to the existing Met Transport Service Agreement contract for the provision of specialist vehicle engineering services.
  • A three-year contract, signed in September 2020, for the delivery of one Command and Control Vessel and five Fast Patrol vessels, entailing full supply chain management, project management and engineering assurance.

Matthew Hayward, Babcock’s Managing Director, Engineering & Training Services said: “Babcock is proud of the role we play in supporting front line policing operations. We are delighted to be continuing our partnership to deliver vehicle fleet and engineering services, and excited to be extending our relationship with the Metropolitan Police Service.”
