Prior, Joe spent two years at HSL Maintenance & Repair, where he supplied staff to the aerospace sector, including the provision of aircraft engineers to airlines and operators.

At Berwick Partners, Joe says he will focus on bringing in the next generation of emerging leaders to the growing infrastructure markets, as he explains: “This is a significant and exciting period of change and opportunity in the UK infrastructure market, with a great amount of investment going into large-scale public projects to increase capacity and fulfil the needs of a growing population.

“Investment is key to keeping the UK infrastructure sector competitive and ensuring it is a major player on the international aviation and transport scenes. It is an area of continuous improvement and investment, and we are seeing a trend for companies seeking the next generation of emerging leaders to drive growth and innovation.

“The introduction of IR35 in the private sector will of course have an impact on the infrastructure market, but there will always be a requirement for contract staff and their specialisms.”

He adds: “I was highly impressed by Berwick Partners’ company values, strong position in the marketplace and commitment to identifying and supporting emerging leaders. Without doubt, the firm is ideally placed to support clients in finding leadership talent for this next phase of growth in the sector.”

Berwick Partners’ Built Environment Practice delivers mid to senior management appointments across the UK’s private, public and not-for-profit sectors, capitalising on its long-standing track record and sector knowledge within Infrastructure and Real Estate.

Richard Love Managing Director of Berwick Partners, adds: “There remains huge investment across the infrastructure sector, and large-scale projects are driving the evolution of the UK’s built environment, in turn providing huge commercial opportunities for contractors.

“Our highly experienced Practice already has a significant network and resources in the real estate and property market, allowing us to source emerging and alternative talent for even the most challenging senior management roles. Joe’s in-depth expertise and specialist knowledge of the infrastructure sector further complements the high-quality service offering of the practice.”
