With these strategic investments, the company is continuing its expansion in aerospace markets and strengthening its global presence.

Since 2016, BIKAR has been certified as an aerospace supplier according to DIN EN 9120 and has since established itself as a reliable supplier in the aerospace market.

As a one-stop shop for aluminium, titanium and superalloys, BIKAR has been involved in the market for decades and offers its customers everything from a single source – from material procurement and storage to customised processing and worldwide delivery. The company also provides comprehensive value-added services such as specialised material processing, certification and logistics solutions, has short delivery times, innovative digital end-to-end solutions and a sales team of aviation experts, positioning it as a reliable partner in the contract and spot business.

The establishment of its own production facilities in the UK and India was seen as a logical step for the company to further expand the market for its service offerings. Alexander Bikar, Managing Director of BIKAR AEROSPACE METALS, said: "With the new locations in Bristol and Belagavi, we are optimally positioned to further advance our internationalisation strategy in the aerospace business.

"This expansion enables us to respond more quickly to market demands and offer our customers customised solutions for their semi-finished material needs."

Earlier this year, BIKAR became the new main supplier for Sonaca Belgium. The long-term contract includes comprehensive procurement, warehousing, processing and picking services for aluminium aerospace plates and sheets.
