Bright Ascension appoints John Baughn as CEO

Bright Ascension has appointed John Baughn as its new Chief Executive Officer following a period in an interim CEO capacity, during a leadership transition.

The appointment of John Baughn (above) as CEO of Bright Ascension forms part of the company's succession planning following this period of interim leadership.

John has been closely involved in Bright Ascension for several years - including as Chairman - and brings a strong understanding of the company's products, customers and the challenges they are addressing.

As part of this transition, John will step down from his role as Chairman, with Bill Ainscough taking on the position.

As CEO, John will lead Bright Ascension through the next phase of growth, building on the momentum Bright Ascension has established and continuing to deliver the software that underpins customers’ missions.
