Chapman Freeborn wins top air charter award at Air Cargo Africa 2013

Chapman Freeborn has been named the Air Charter Provider of the Year in Africa for the second consecutive time.

The announcement was made at the Air Cargo Africa 2013 event held last week in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Nominated by freight forwarders and cargo airlines, the award highlights our team’s excellence in delivering air cargo charter solutions across the continent.

Iain Clark, Chapman Freeborn Africa’s regional manager, commented: "Chapman Freeborn is delighted to have been recognised by our partners and friends in winning the Air Charter Provider of the year in Africa once again. We know we would not have been able to win this prestigious award were it not for our clients and our friends in the industry.”

Chapman Freeborn was the first international aircraft charter company to establish a presence in Africa – opening its first office in Entebbe in Uganda in early 2009.

Ten months later, it further expanded its reach by establishing a second location in Johannesburg, South Africa – providing the full range of cargo aircraft and passenger air charter services.

In addition to air cargo operations, Chapman Freeborn offers specialist passenger services including private jet charters for executive travel and large aircraft for crew rotations and international group travel.

Chapman Freeborn first landed the prestigious Air Charter Provider of the Year accolade at the inaugural Air Cargo Africa awards held in Nairobi in 2011.

In addition, the company has been voted Air Cargo Charter Broker of the Year at the World Air Cargo Awards in 2007/08/09/10/11/12.

Air Cargo News also named the Chapman Freeborn as its Cargo Charter Broker of the Year 2012.
