ECS to demo ECS Connect at Security & Policing

Enterprise Control Systems (ECS) will be showcasing advanced security and defence solutions at Security & Policing 2026 - taking place 10th-12th March at Farnborough - including the very first public demonstration of the new ECS Connect data link network manager.

Radio frequency (RF) technology specialist Enterprise Control Systems (ECS), launched ECS Connect in November last year. ECS Connect is designed to enable mission success in complex and contested environments.

An intelligent data link network manager, ECS Connect automatically switches between multiple communication protocols, including COFDM, SATCOM, LTE, Cellular and MESH, ensuring uninterrupted and reliable transmission of video, audio and data between air, land and sea.

David Robins, Business Development Director for Data Links at ECS, said: “ECS Connect represents a significant step forward in Data Link technology, to move beyond single-solution systems towards a smarter, more adaptive approach to airborne and ground-based communication.”

ECS will also be presenting several of its innovations at Security & Policing:

  • Intelligent Data Links – Secure, resilient communications for real-time intelligence sharing (including the new ECS Connect)
  • Counter-UAS – BLACKTALON Ecosystem for detecting, tracking and defeating drone threats
  • COMINT – Advanced, deployable systems for communications intelligence
  • Digital Interoperability – Including MAGTAB for mission execution and situational awareness.

Wappenham based Enterprise Control Systems Ltd (ECS) was founded in 1988 and is part of SPX Communication Technologies.

Security & Policing - established over 43 years ago - is the official UK Government global security event, taking place this year between 10th and 12th March at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre. This Home Office event is the corner-stone of the security calendar and is the only ‘closed’ event of its kind.
