Farnborough International Airshow concludes with £62.9bn in orders
The total value of deals announced across the four trade days of Farnborough International Airshow 2026 reached £62.9bn, according to analysis from ADS.
UK industry is expected to benefit from £10.8bn of content associated with the orders placed during the event, reflecting Britain’s extensive role in global aerospace manufacturing and supply chains.
Across the first four days, Airbus, Boeing and Embraer secured 353 firm aircraft orders. A further 12 aircraft options were placed with Airbus and Boeing.
Engine manufacturers recorded an even larger volume of business, with 904 firm orders placed across CFM International’s LEAP family, Pratt & Whitney and GE Aerospace products. Pratt & Whitney also secured options covering another 60 engines.
The show additionally generated firm orders for 10 Airbus helicopters.

The figures underline the breadth of business concluded at Farnborough, encompassing commercial aircraft, propulsion systems and helicopters. Engine commitments were particularly prominent, reflecting both new aircraft orders and continued investment in future fleet requirements.
The £10.8bn attributed to UK content includes the value expected to flow into Britain’s aerospace sector through its participation in international aircraft and engine programmes. UK companies supply systems, structures, engines and specialist components to manufacturers around the world, meaning orders placed with overseas airframers can generate substantial domestic economic activity.
