Farnborough Airport to host careers day

Farnborough Airport is set to hold a careers day on Monday 23rd January to attract and inspire a new and diverse workforce of aviation professionals, supporting the Department for Transport’s ambitions to raise the profile of the aviation industry and champion the sector as a sustainable future career pathway.

In keeping with its longstanding history of driving local employment and prosperity in the region, the team from Farnborough Airport will be speaking about fulfilling careers at the airport. Whether attendees are looking to enter or move within the industry, they will be able to find out about current recruitment opportunities at the airport and the People team will be offering practical advice in a CV and interview skills workshop.

During the event, fellow industry leaders including aircraft manufacturers Gulfstream, the British Business and General Aviation Association (BBGA) and private aviation operator Flexjet, will also be in attendance, amongst others and Lindsey Oliver, Managing Director at BBGA will be presenting on the future of business aviation.

The event will be taking place from 10am to 4pm at Aviator hotel, Farnborough, Hampshire, GU14 6EL.
