Frazer-Nash appoint Martin Rose as senior engineer
Rose’s role within Frazer-Nash will be to help develop the company’s electrical design and analysis expertise, particularly in the areas of physical and event-based systems. He has many years’ experience of design and analysis tools including Easy PC CAD software, MATLAB, Simulink, P-Spice and Labview.
Rose’s experience provides Frazer-Nash with a detailed knowledge of the manufacturing processes and standards required when designing new components for defence based applications. Rose also has broad experience of the verification and validation procedures undertaken by defence contractors to prove compliance with functional requirements.
After obtaining a first-class honours degree in electrical and electronic engineering, Rose became an operator mechanic first class in the Royal Navy, operating highly sensitive radio and satellite systems on board HMS Glasgow and HMS Exeter. He then went on to join Airbus as an instrumentation engineer, developing and maintaining electronics used for control and data acquisition in the Airbus wind tunnel, before joining MBDA.
Andy Gill, Group Leader of Systems Development within Frazer-Nash, said: “Martin Rose joins us with over a decade of electrical design and analysis experience, working for companies such as Airbus and MBDA, so he will have a huge impact on the development our electrical team.
“His expertise will enable us to offer our clients a wider range of electrical design, analysis, test and verification services, as well as enhancing our EC & I capability. His industry knowledge is exactly what we need to build on the level of growth we've already achieved.”
