Frazer-Nash providing ITE to MoD
Frazer-Nash will provide ITE on a number of UAST Urgent Operational Requirement platform programmes. The results will provide evidence for subsequent Type Certification and Release to Service, to allow safe and airworthy operation of the aircraft under Military Aviation Authority regulations.
Throughout the task Frazer-Nash’s large specialist team will work to provide dedicated, focussed and targeted ITE which will look at both the needs of the current tasks and the longer term view of the output. The team will also work to develop airworthiness arguments and approaches in line with, and supportive of the UAST strategy and objectives.
Commenting on the project, Andrew Chadwick Aerospace Business Manager at Frazer-Nash said: “We are delighted to be working with the UAST on this project. The knowledge and experience of our staff means we can give further support to the team which offers technical credibility across a wide range of stakeholders. We have extensive experience in this field and have previously worked with the UAST supporting WATCHKEEPER DEFSTAN 00-970 compliance reviews.”
