G&P appoints former Jaguar MD as Chairman

Automotive and aerospace quality management service provider G&P has appointed Geoff Cousins, former Managing Director at Jaguar UK, as its Chairman.

G&P is a world-leading quality management provider, working closely with key automotive and aerospace manufacturers and associated supply chains to improve quality and efficiency levels.

G&P is now entering into an ambitious growth phase that will see it not only develop the breadth and depth of its core automotive and aerospace divisions but expand into adjacent services, sectors and industries, underpinned by a strong emphasis on value added technology development.

In a career that started in Finance, Geoff has worked in key leadership and business transforming roles for global brands Jaguar Land Rover, including CFO North America before leading Jaguar UK as Managing Director through the biggest cultural transformation in its history.

Geoff has recently worked as a board advisor to ambitious companies, helping them develop and deliver their strategy. He consults with private equity companies and delivers keynote speeches on disruption and the future of the automotive industry. He is also Visiting Professor of Global Governance at the University of South Wales.

Geoff commented: “Having worked closely with G&P for the last few months, I have been very impressed by its commitment to delivering a world class quality management service to its clients and by its future vision to ambitiously grow and diversify the company. In this new position I will look to use my experience, expertise and critical thinking to help drive the strategy and action plans, as well as being a proud and visible ambassador for G&P.”

In September this year, G&P further expanded their presence in the aerospace sector with the official opening of its office at Derby’s state-of-the-art iHub building located on Infinity Park. The iHub is home to a range of businesses from the aerospace industry and G&P is using its dedicated office as a foundation to build relationships with the surrounding aerospace businesses.
