Hammond hails Teledyne CML Composites as 'First Class'
Describing Teledyne CML Composites as a “dynamic, rapidly growing company”, Philip Hammond commented: “That's the way things are going. After meeting management and staff, the Foreign Secretary congratulated the firm saying: "Teledyne CML Composites is taking on apprentices and plans to take on more in the future. We've looked around the factory that's obviously on the cutting edge of technology, focusing on the manufacture of composites parts and assemblies for the latest generation of aircraft.”
The Teledyne CML Composites programme will work in co-operation with the Maritime Engineering College North West, to coach candidates in all aspects of composite manufacturing, including material properties, design engineering, production methods, customer support and applications of composite parts in industry sectors such as aerospace, defence and automotive/motorsport.
Upon completion of the three year apprenticeship scheme, the successful candidates will attain an NVQ Level 3 extended diploma in Composite Manufacturing Engineering.
