Ideagen helps Kuwait's Civil Aviation Authority avoid turbulence

UK based global provider of governance, risk and compliance software, Ideagen Plc, has signed a long-term contract with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Kuwait, which will see the Gulf state’s commercial aviation industry guardian adopt Ideagen’s flagship safety and risk management software, Q-Pulse, as well as its leading document review software, PleaseReview.

Historically, the processes and procedures required in aviation were very manual and relied on significant quantities of physical documentation. The DGCA in Kuwait is keen to adopt world-leading digital systems and processes that will ensure it is operating in a streamlined, and efficient manner that removes much of the potential for human error from the chain.

Joseph Moore, Sales Consultant, Aviation at Ideagen, said: “This deal makes the DGCA in Kuwait the first aviation regulator in the world to use PleaseReview for document collaboration. Not only will this massively reduce the amount of time required for the various revisions of aviation regulations and documents that they create, but it will allow for greater and smoother collaboration with their airline customers. In simple terms their customers will be able to upload a document in PleaseReview and their inspector can approve it in real time, which could be a real game changer.”

Engr. Emad AbuRezq, Head of Standards and Safety Regulations, of Kuwait DGCA, said: “We are very excited by the opportunities that the Ideagen software presents to us. Operating at the very highest levels of security and efficiency is of paramount importance to us, as we are responsible for the safety of aviation in the State of Kuwait.

“Aviation is a fast-moving industry and we are constantly looking for ways we can improve and deliver the very highest standards of excellence in safety and security. We are confident that our partnership with Ideagen will allow us to move onto a new level in terms of quality, efficiency and safety.”
