Intelliconnect Europe wins SC21 Silver Award at FIA2024

Intelliconnect Europe received the prestigious SC21 Silver Performance Standard Award last week, for a remarkable sixth year running, at the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) 2024.

The Farnborough Airshow 2024 was a remarkable event for Intelliconnect (Europe) Ltd and their parent company Trexon, filled with exciting moments, significant recognitions and valuable connections. Over the course of the week, their senior team engaged with industry leaders and showcased their latest innovations in mission-critical connectors.

A highlight of the event was Managing Director, Gareth Phillips, receiving the SC21 Silver Award from Magnus Dimming, Group Director and Global Category Director of Raw Material at BAE. This is the sixth consecutive year the UK based specialist manufacturer of RF, waterproof and cryogenic connectors and cable harness assemblies has achieved the SC21 Silver Performance Standard Award.

Gareth Phillips said: “This was a week of innovation and engagement. Our booth was a hive of activity and we had the pleasure of meeting numerous professionals who were eager to learn about our advanced connectivity solutions. The engagement and enthusiasm from visitors were truly inspiring, reaffirming our commitment to excellence in the aerospace industry. Insights gathered from discussions and presentations will help us stay ahead of industry trends and continuously improve our product offerings.”

Since its inception, the SC21 – 21st Century Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space industry Supply Chain – programme has had over 880 participating companies signed up to its principles and engaged in engaged in demonstrating their continuous performance improvement. Launched 18 years ago SC21 has grown into the largest supply chain improvement programme in the UK aerospace and defence sector. The programme is endorsed by all major UK aerospace and defence companies.

The SC21 programme is managed by ADS at a national and international level, working with SC21 participants, prime contractors, regions and regional associations, strategic partners, accredited practitioners, training partners, providers, assessors and ambassadors.

Recognition can occur only after all of the SC21 required framework elements have been proved to meet the required criteria in terms of delivery, quality, sustainable improvement and the associated improvement frameworks including business and manufacturing excellence.
