London City Airport to open new departure gates

London City Airport is to open new departure gates this month, to provide more space, seats, choice and more comfort, together with a new bar, café and spa.

London City Airport is to open new departure gates this month, to provide more space, seats, choice and more comfort, with a new bar, café and spa.

London City Airport's terminal has in the lst few years become a great deal busier, driving the need for more space to be created.

Accordingly, departure gates 1-10 at London City Airport are being completely refurbished, to create 84% more space and a modern, open-plan layout.

Working is going on behind-the-scenes to bring more seats, choice and comfort, with the first phase of the transformation to be opened later this month, followed later this year by Pret and Brick Lane Brews Bar stores in the new lounge.
