Manchester Airport hosting jobs fair

A Manchester Airport jobs fair is being held at the Forum Centre in Wythenshawe on Thursday 22nd September, where there are more than 650 roles available.

There are a variety of positions on offer with the Airport, and roles are also available with a number of the other companies operating there – like retailers, and food and beverage outlets.

The jobs fair is being organised by the Manchester Airport Academy and is in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions and Manchester City Council.

Jobs include customer services, security staff, hospitality and car parking.

In addition to the operational roles, there are also almost 100 jobs available in IT, finance, energy, assets, commercial and engineering.

Other companies taking part and attending the fair include Dnata Catering, HMS Host, DHL, Menzies Aviation and Interstate Hotels to name a few.

Plus, retail partners will also be on hand to showcase roles available at outlets including Wagamama, Spar, Costa Coffee, Pret a Manger, JD Sports, WHSmith, Boots and KFC.

Attendees at the jobs fair will get the chance to engage directly with employers, putting any questions they may have to those who are recruiting and will also learn more about what employers are looking for from applicants, boosting their chances of securing employment at the airport.
