Marshall Aerospace appoints Nick Whitney as operational support services MD

Marshall Aerospace has appointed Nick Whitney as its managing director (MD) of operational support services (OSS).

Whitney joins Marshall Aerospace following a successful career with AgustaWestland, where he was responsible for the UK Government Business Unit and accountable for all business with the UK Ministry of Defence.

Steve Fitz-Gerald, CEO of Marshall Aerospace, commented: “We’re delighted that Nick has joined us as his considerable experiences and praise-worthy drive fit well with not only our operational support services but also with Marshall Aerospace as a whole.”

Whitney’s career began with an engineering apprenticeship at Plessey Marine. He joined the Westland Engineering Division in 1983, where he worked on a variety of engineering programmes and subsequently became chief engineer. He then moved into technical support, becoming responsible for in-service programmes and support, before moving into a board-level role.
