Marshall Aerospace appoints Nick Whitney as operational support services MD
Whitney joins Marshall Aerospace following a successful career with AgustaWestland, where he was responsible for the UK Government Business Unit and accountable for all business with the UK Ministry of Defence.
Steve Fitz-Gerald, CEO of Marshall Aerospace, commented: “We’re delighted that Nick has joined us as his considerable experiences and praise-worthy drive fit well with not only our operational support services but also with Marshall Aerospace as a whole.”
Whitney’s career began with an engineering apprenticeship at Plessey Marine. He joined the Westland Engineering Division in 1983, where he worked on a variety of engineering programmes and subsequently became chief engineer. He then moved into technical support, becoming responsible for in-service programmes and support, before moving into a board-level role.
