Menzies Aviation makes multiple UK contract wins

Menzies Aviation today announced a number of contract wins and renewals across its UK operations.

These multiple contract wins and renewals are testament to the high quality service delivered by Menzies professionals across major UK airports.

Glasgow
Menzies has agreed a three year contract with Lufthansa at Glasgow Airport. From December 2019, Menzies will deliver passenger, ramp and de-icing services for Germany’s largest airline.

Menzies has also landed a new five-year seasonal contract with United Airlines, which will see Menzies provide passenger and ramp services for their B752 operation at Glasgow Airport from March 2020, when their summer schedule begins.
 
Edinburgh
Swiss leisure airline Edelweiss Air has selected Menzies as its ground handler of choice at Edinburgh Airport. Starting from November 2019 Menzies will deliver passenger, ramp and de-icing services for a term of three years.

Lufthansa and United Airlines have also renewed their ground handling contracts with Menzies at Edinburgh Airport, for a term of three and five years respectively.
 
Gatwick
Wizz Air has renewed its passenger, ramp, cleaning and de-icing contract with Menzies for a three year term at London Gatwick Airport, where Menzies has been its trusted partner since June 2016. Menzies will service four daily flights during the summer and two daily flights during the winter.

Royal Air Maroc, the Moroccan national carrier, has also extended its ground handling agreement for three years with Menzies, providing passenger, ramp and cabin cleaning services.
 
Heathrow
Tap Air Portugal, the flag carrier of Portugal, has renewed its ground handling contract for three years, which began on 1 September 2019 and includes the delivery of passenger, ramp and ticketing services.

Middle Eastern Airlines has selected Menzies as its cargo handling partner of choice for a further two years, beginning September 2019.
