Menzies Aviation wins Aeromexico contracts at 15 airports

Menzies Aviation today announced that it has secured a significant contract win with Mexico’s flagship carrier and largest international airline, Aeromexico, which includes ground handling services at 15 airports across the country.

As part of the agreement Menzies will deliver a full suite of ground services to the airline, including passenger, ramp and cleaning operations, at stations including Los Cabos International Airport, Mérida International Airport, Del Bajío International Airport and Oaxaca International Airport. The three-year contract will see Menzies handle an expected 23,000 total turns per year, as well as operate the largest number of stations for Aeromexico out of any handler in region.

The contract represents an expansion of Menzies’ presence in Mexico and follows further positive contract win momentum for the Company in Latin America, following recent wins with American Airlines, Delta, Wingo and Air Transat. This strong performance in the region reflects Menzies’ strategic investment in new emerging market territories to create growth opportunities across its service portfolio.
