At DSEI last week, Babcock signed a contract with Uplift360, a company that specialises in the recycling of advanced materials.

The partnership will explore how composite materials from a Typhoon aircraft can be broken down and repurposed and how this process could be applied more widely across additional defence platforms.

This initiative builds on our ongoing work to embed sustainability into its operations and collaborate with partners who share a commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility.
