Pattonair donates clothes to orphanage in Ghana following new corporate logo

Following a re-design of its logo, aerospace and defence supply chain service provider, Pattonair, was able to put its old company uniforms to good use.

The t-shirts that had been worn by staff at Pattonair’s Derby facility, which is also the company’s head office, were donated to the charity Children’s House of Hope who have shipped them to Ghana and distributed them to children in the Egyam Orphanage and to the villagers of Abura and Napontibauk.

In a letter to Children’s House of Hope, Mr Kombet, one of the villagers, wrote that “all the beneficiaries of the communities are saying “ayekoo” (congratulations) to Pattonair. Our prayer is that their workplace should grow from strength to strength”.

Wayne Hollinshead, Pattonair’s CEO, commented: “We were delighted to be able to support the work of Children’s House of Hope, and it is gratifying to know that our contribution has been so much appreciated.”
