QinetiQ supporting Malvern Festival of Innovation

QinetiQ is sponsoring the Malvern Festival of Innovation to be held on the 8 and 9 November at the Malvern Theatres which will showcase the best of British innovation in both technology and business practice.

The Festival will showcase the best of British innovation in both technology and business practice, is aimed at an audience of entrepreneurs, business leaders and technophiles. It promises to provide a platform for debate, discussion and networking as Malvern continues to maintain its reputation as a hub for innovation.
 
As one of the largest employers in the town, QinetiQ has long encouraged hi-tech businesses to relocate to the town in order to provide a pool of highly able individuals committed to helping Malvern to thrive.

As part of the festival, Elliott Atkins, Head of Cyber Intelligence at QinetiQ, will be giving a talk on inadvertent data leakage and how individuals may be giving away more information than they realise.

Drawing on recent examples, Elliott will look at QinetiQ's innovative approaches to helping businesses ensure that information shared on social networking sites such as Twitter or Facebook isn't damaging to the security of their organisation.


 
QinetiQ will also have a stand at the Festival open to all to seek advice and discuss issues around cyber security.
