The collaborations strengthen the company’s presence in key European defence and security markets.

Sentinel Photonics has appointed StarC4SYS as its official sales partner in Romania and TBM Netherlands as an authorised reseller in the Benelux region. The partnerships will enhance local expertise, streamline access to Sentinel’s cutting-edge LASERD detection systems and FROST retro reflection protection solutions, and ensure that military and security organisations benefit from faster deployment and stronger technical support.

Jackson White, Head of Commercial at Sentinel Photonics, commented: “Our partnerships with StarC4SYS and TBM Netherlands represent crucial milestones in our rapid international growth strategy. Romania’s growing defence modernisation initiatives and the Benelux region’s advanced security market present strong opportunities for our laser detection and protection systems. Partnering with established, trusted organisations in these regions ensures we can deliver cutting-edge solutions where they are needed most.”

Cristian Ghimfus, CEO of StarC4SYS, which will manage all sales activities in Romania, said: “Within Romania, StarC4SYIS is known for our deep understanding of customer needs in the C4ISR and EW domains. Adding Sentinel Photonics’ laser detection and protection solutions allows us to support our customers in tackling the emerging laser threats they face.”

TBM Netherlands will serve as Sentinel’s gateway to the Benelux region, leveraging its extensive defence and security expertise. “Laser technology is playing a significant role in the current defence and security sector across a number of user cases,” said Bjorn Beke, Sales Director of TBM. “We are extremely pleased to be partnering with Sentinel Photonics to deliver detection and protection solutions to our long-standing customer base.”

Sentinel Photonics, a UK MoD spin-out company, specialises in developing and manufacturing advanced laser detection and protection technologies. Based in Farnborough’s Cody Technology Park and Porton Science Park, the company serves defence and security sectors with ISO9001-certified manufacturing processes.
