Singapore Airlines appoints Menzies Aviation in Sydney

Menzies Aviation today announced the start-up of its new ground-handling contract at Sydney Airport (SYD) for the award-winning Singapore Airlines.


 
Menzies Aviation began providing passenger and ramp handling operations for Singapore Airline’s flagship Sydney-Singapore route, operating up to 6 services per day, on 15 October. This new contract brings a 13th major international airline to Menzies Aviation’s growing portfolio in Oceania.

Menzies Aviation has already enjoyed a long-term partnership with Singapore Airlines, occupying preferred handling partner status in 9 locations across Australia and New Zealand, and at 15 stations globally.
 
This contract is the most recent in a series of ground-handling wins for Menzies Aviation in the Oceania region, following the announcement of a contract with Malaysia Airlines at Brisbane in June.
