The website, www.unisonltd.com, is home to machine tools from Unison Ltd, as well as those from sister companies Nukon Lasers UK and wire manipulation machinery specialist, Pneuform Machines Ltd. It is also the place to discover Unison’s considerable software, machine tool service, support and consumable tooling offerings.

“In line with our aim of always offering our customers the best possible solutions to their manufacturing challenges, a good deal has been happening at Unison over the last few years,” said joint managing director, Alan Pickering.

“In 2021, for example, we launched an all-new range of hybrid tube benders to complement our globally renowned all-electric tube bending machines. Later that year, to enable us to offer high-quality, highly accessible laser cutting technologies, we became the official UK and Ireland distributor for Nukon’s range of European fibre laser cutting machines and loading & unloading solutions. In 2022, we launched Nukon Lasers UK. Then, in 2023, we acquired UK-based wire manipulation machinery maker Pneuform.”

Unison has also launched a free-to-download tube bending application app, developed its own suite of ‘design for manufacture’ tube simulation software and introduced a new consumable tooling service for its global customer base.

“With so much to offer manufacturers, subcontractors and fabricators alongside our well-established range of British-built, all-electric tube bending machines, we decided it was high time for a fresh online presence,” added Alan. “Offering a vastly improved user experience and available in English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish, our new website does just that, making it simple and straightforward for customers old and new to see everything that the Unison family of companies has to offer.

Unison Ltd manufactured the world’s first all-electric tube bender in 1994, followed by the world’s first all-electric multi-stack tube bender, then the world’s largest all-electric tube bender for the shipbuilding industry. Available in single stack, multistack and right/left varieties, Unison machines are delivered to more than 20 countries globally. Unison’s tube bending software is recognised as the most user-friendly control system for tube bending machines. The software is written and supported by Unison, ensuring complete control of its evolution, with no need for third party support.
