Tekever has announced the purchase of its Uncrewed Aircraft System (UAS) aircraft by the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The UAS systems have successfully completed a programme of validation and acceptance testing, supported by dedicated training activities, with an extensive flight programme performed at multiple locations.

Continuous iteration is central to Tekever’s product-development model. Data and feedback from each flight cycle are used to inform further refinements, allowing the company to respond rapidly to operational needs and deliver increasingly capable and relevant systems.

Ricardo Mendes, CEO of Tekever, said: “This procurement represents an important milestone in a relationship that has been built over time through rigorous testing, open dialogue and a clear focus on delivering effective capability. We greatly value the professionalism and engagement of the USSOCOM personnel with whom we have worked and look forward to continuing to support their evolving requirements.”

How modular architecture enables a flexible autonomous intelligence solution

The uncrewed aerial system is a highly deployable system designed to provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities in demanding operational environments. Its modular architecture brings together the air platform, mission-specific payloads, communications and Al-enabled mission software within an integrated autonomous intelligence ecosystem.

Tekever’s vertically integrated model-spanning engineering, manufacturing, software, artificial intelligence and operational support, enables the company to incorporate user feedback rapidly and maintain a continuous development cycle throughout the life of its systems.

The purchase represents a further step in Tekever’s long-term commitment to the United States and its special operations community. Tekever has an established presence in Fayetteville, North Carolina, supporting its engagement with US defence and security customers.

The number, model and specific configuration of the UAS systems purchased are not being disclosed.
