VHR launches ATS division

Technical recruitment and engineering solutions specialist, VHR, has announced the official launch of VHR Aircraft Technical Services (ATS), a dedicated business unit providing comprehensive aviation project management, maintenance and manufacturing support services

Operating across Europe, the Middle East and North America, VHR Aircraft Technical Services represents the next stage in VHR’s 22-year evolution as a partner to airlines, OEMs, MROs and aerospace manufacturers. The new division integrates technical delivery with VHR’s established recruitment expertise, enabling seamless coordination across all aviation project phases from aircraft modification to maintenance, manufacturing and compliance oversight.

“VHR Aircraft Technical Services is a natural progression of our commitment to deliver value driven, compliant and technically precise aviation solutions,” said Neil Day, Director of Aircraft Technical Services. “Our mission is to ensure operational continuity and quality assurance at every stage of an aircraft’s lifecycle, delivered by aviation professionals who understand the industry from the ground up.”

With headquarters in London, 12 global offices and operations in 57 countries, VHR’s technical arm will provide fixed price, fully compliant solutions that support clients’ objectives without unnecessary overheads. The service portfolio includes:

  • Aircraft Modifications: Wi-Fi installations, cargo conversions, structural upgrades and avionics enhancements.
  • Airline Maintenance: Line and base maintenance, scheduled checks (A380, A350, B787 and B777) and component replacement programmes.
  • MRO Support Services: Technical representation, planning and logistics and fleet coordination.
  • Manufacturing Operations: Avionic component assembly, fuel tank production and structural component manufacture.

Leading the division are Neil Day, a veteran aeronautical mechanical engineer with over 40 years of global aviation experience and Ryan Stewart, Business Development Manager for Aircraft Technical Services. With more than two decades of experience across both widebody and narrowbody aircraft, Ryan brings specialist expertise in advanced composite repair, structural modification and complex maintenance programme delivery. His proven capability in overseeing critical aviation projects reinforces VHR’s reputation for technical precision, compliance and client confidence.
