MCF3 is a multi-lot framework agreement that gives the central government and wider public sector customers access to high quality and cost-effective consultancy advice from a range of suppliers across nine specific lots. The agreement will span four years and BMT was successful across the following three lots:

  • Lot 1 – Business: Provision of objective advice relating to strategy, structure, management or operations of an organisation.
  • Lot 3 - Complex and Transformation: Provision of objective advice on complex programmes or portfolios of work that may be multi-disciplinary and/or transformational.
  • Lot 9 - Environmental Sustainability and Socio-Economic Development: Provision of objective strategic advice in areas related to environmental and/or sustainability.

Gaining a place on MCF3 against strong competition will provide significant growth opportunities and help create strong alliances in the supply chain in the next few years. It will also support BMT’s delivery of complex consultancy and transformation projects and underpin the company’s efforts to ensure sustainable operations.

Richard Page, BMT Defence Head of Consulting and Advisory Services, said: “We are delighted to have been named as a supplier and I see this as a major win for BMT. It will prove to be a game-changer for pursuing business aspirations. We recognise the growing urgency and importance of climate change, sustainability and wider socioeconomic development, so this will help us play our part in making a positive contribution for the future.”

The CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2020/21, the CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.04 billion - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

The capabilities of the MCF3 agreement will allow BMT to provide the best service possible for its customers and industrial partners and aid clients in the delivery of their objectives.
