SRC, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, has successfully retrofitted over 500 aircraft and aircrew training devices with new ADS-B Out-compliant transponders and Cobham’s upgraded RMS 555 Radio Management System.

Cobham’s RMS 555 software/firmware upgrade significantly reduced installation costs and simplified the aircraft modification work by minimising changes to the aircraft configuration and pilot operations.

John Payne, General Manager North America, Cobham Aerospace Connectivity: “This successful program is indicative of Cobham’s commitment to full life-cycle product support by helping our customers adapt to changing technological and regulatory requirements.

Completion of this programme on-time and on-budget stands as a notable achievement for Cobham and its partner SRC and there mutual end customer, the JPATS programme operations.”
