Cobham selects Prescott as primary slipring production site

Cobham has announced that their Prescott, Arizona facility will become their primary North American slipring manufacturing site, producing components for military and other applications.

Cobham has a long and accomplished slipring legacy. Their Annemasse and Paris, France facilities are two of the world’s foremost producers of slipring technology, with more than 50 years of design, manufacturing, and support experience.  In addition to the wind turbine sector, the business specialises in technology for military land vehicles, helicopter applications, food and handling industries, and communications. Designs may be standardised or customised, including low-maintenance slip ring versions capable of several hundred million rotations without component switch-outs.
