FIA 2012: ADS launches Global Intelligence Systems Expo at FIA 2012

ADS, in collaboration with the MoD (Unmanned Systems Capability Development Centre - Boscombe Down)today launched a new event - Global Intelligent Systems during the ADS Defence Conference at the Farnborough International Airshow.

Launching the event, Air Vice Marshal Baz North, assistant chief of the air staff, said: "Global Intelligent Systems will constitute an Intelligent Systems Conference, exhibiting opportunities, workshops, as well as static and dynamic displays during the week commencing July 15 2013 at Farnborough."

Focused on growth opportunities, market developmentm S&T and R&D activities, the Global Intelligent Systems will offer a platform to develop and demonstrate thought and capability leadership on the global stage. Intelligent Systems are increasingly being developed across multiple sectors to meet the needs and new requirement sof domestic and international consumers from sectors such as heakth, energy, law enforcement, aerospace, agriculture and defence.

"Global Intelligent Systems will be the precursor to a full-blown Intelligent Systems Air and Ground Expo that will occur within Farnborough International Airshow 2014, where as a show-within-a-show, Intelligent Systems stakeholders will have command of the global aerospace stage over the period July 14-20 July 2014," said North.
