ODU invests in global expansion

This year ODU is planning three major investments to increase its global capacity and capabilities, in Germany, Romania and Mexico.

ODU is investing in a state-of-the-art logistics centre in Mühldorf, Bavaria, Germany, which is being built to speed deliveries to customers.  

In Sibiu Romania, capacity is being expanded to meet increased demand, whilst in Tijuana, Mexico, a technology and plant expansion will strengthen ODU's position in the North American market.

Robert Klemisch, ODU Managing Director, commented: "These investments are an important step in further expanding our global footprint and our ability to innovate in connector technology."

In 2024, ODU will continue to have a strong presence in measurement and testing, as well as in military, communications and security markets.

Dr.-Ing. Kurt Woelfl, ODU Management Board Spokesman, said: "Our products remain highly regarded and ODU is known as a reliable partner. As a result, we are working on many new projects. These are time-consuming, require patience but lead to success and achieving the goal."
