PwC appoints new corporate finance partner

PwC has appointed Michael Burns as a partner in the corporate finance business within its infrastructure team.

In his new role, Burns will focus on aviation infrastructure advisory work for a range of private and public sector clients, especially in relation to asset structuring, disposals, public private partnerships (PPPs) and investment appraisals.

Burns joins PwC from Booz & Co, where he led their aviation industry sector team across a range of disciplines. He has over 18 years experience in aviation transactions and consultancy roles in the Big 4 and QinetiQ.  Burns is experienced in M&A, due diligence, airport operations PPPs and privatisations.

Commenting on the appointment, Stuart McKee, head of corporate finance at PwC, said: “We are delighted that Michael is joining us.
