Sir Christopher Coville joins SecureCloud+

Provider of next-generation secure information systems to government and defence, SecureCloud+, has announced that Sir Christopher Coville has joined the Company as Senior Defence Advisor.

‘Sir Chris' joined the Royal Air Force in 1964 and served several tours of duty as an operational Lightning, Phantom and Tornado F3 pilot in the Air Defence role. He completed several senior appointments, in command and in the staffs, finishing his RAF career in the rank of Air Marshal, as Commander-in-Chief of Personnel and Training Command, with an Air Force Board position as Air Member for Personnel.

Sir Chris (right) has enjoyed a successful second career in business and in the Third Sector. He is past Chairman of Westland Helicopters Ltd (2005-February 2011), and past Chairman of the European Aerospace Companies’ Rotorcraft Group (2004-12). His portfolio includes Defence and Security Advisor roles to BT, EMC and Rockwell Collins UK. In recognition of his leadership role in Cyber and STEM Skills Development, he is a member of the Information Assurance Advisory Council (IAAC) community of interest, a frequent speaker to the Security Awareness Special Interest Group (SASIG) and is a Special Advisor with the Aviation Skills Partnership.

Sir Chris said: "I am extremely pleased to be joining team SecureCloud+.
