Thales appoints Christophe Salomon as Executive VP, Land & Air Systems

Christophe Salomon is appointed Executive Vice President, Thales, Land and Air Systems.

He will be part of the Thales Executive Committee. He succeeds Alex Cresswell, who has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Thales in the UK.

Christophe, a graduate engineer of the Ecole Polytechnique and Sup’ Aero, joins Thales from EDF where he held the position of Chief Information Officer since 2017 and was in charge of driving the group’s Digital Transformation and Cyber Security Business. Prior, he spent 5 years in the Office of Jean-Yves Le Drian at the French Ministry of Defence and 13 years in various roles at the French Defence Procurement Agency DGA).
