Zenix Aerospace to make international airshow debut at Farnborough
Zenix Aerospace will make its first major international industry appearance as an independent company at Farnborough International Airshow 2026.
The Birmingham-headquartered precision aerospace manufacturing group became an independent business on 31 December 2025 and will use Farnborough to introduce the company to customers, partners and the wider aerospace supply chain.
Zenix Aerospace describes itself as a $500 million global precision aerospace business, operating seven manufacturing sites across the UK, US, Thailand and Malaysia. The company employs more than 2,000 people across four countries and three continents.
Its capabilities include specialist surface treatments and special processes, precision and hard-metal machining, and complex assemblies. The company supports commercial aero-engine and aerostructure programmes, as well as defence, space and industrial gas turbine markets.
Zenix Aerospace to showcase precision manufacturing capability
Zenix was formed through the carve-out of precision structures and treatments operations from other organisations, creating a standalone group with its own systems, governance and executive leadership.
The company said its first six months as an independent business have focused on completing the carve-out, establishing leadership across its seven sites and maintaining delivery performance and customer quality approvals throughout the transition.
“Farnborough is the natural stage for Zenix to introduce ourselves to the international aerospace community as an independent business,” says Scott McLarty, chief executive officer of Zenix Aerospace. “In six months, we have built the foundations of a standalone group without missing a beat on delivery.”
Farnborough debut for independent aerospace supplier
Zenix said its ambition is to become one of the leading independent specialists in its field, growing both organically and through acquisition.
McLarty added: “We arrive at Farnborough with a clear ambition: to grow into one of the leading independent specialists in our field, both organically and through acquisition.
“We look forward to meeting the partners and customers who will be part of that journey.”
Zenix will exhibit at Farnborough International Airshow from 20 to 24 July 2026.
