As the latest industry leader to join the ADS Board, Véronique will guide the trade association as it continues to ensure that aerospace remains a priority sector in the government’s Modern Industrial Strategy.

In her new role as ADS Vice President for Aerospace, Véronique will chair the Aerospace Sector Council, working closely with the 1,200+ ADS members active in the aerospace sector to strengthen supply chains and meet the industry's record aircraft backlog.

ADS President David Lockwood welcomed the appointment: “I very much welcome Véronique to the ADS Board. Her expertise, insight and deep industry knowledge will be invaluable as the industry navigates this pivotal period of transformation under the government’s Industrial Strategy.”

“As production ramps-up and we continue to face challenges around skills, capacity and material shortages, Véronique’s appointment will be crucial as ADS continues to strengthen resilience and readiness across the UK’s aerospace supply chain.”

Véronique Bardelmann, newly appointed ADS Vice President for Aerospace, said: “I am delighted to be joining the ADS Board as VP Aerospace. The UK’s rich heritage and world-class expertise in the aerospace sector means we have a significant opportunity, to play a pivotal role in rapidly developing technologies that will shape a sustainable future for the next generation of flight.”
