Bristol Airport seeking JET A1 and fuel farm operational services

Bristol Airport is seeking proposals for the operation and management of the Airport’s fuel farm supply and day-to-day fuel farm operation services.

Bristol Airport welcomes expressions of interest from companies to manage and operate its fuel farm, to include but not limited to:

  • Day to day operation and maintenance of facilities
  • Overseeing jet supply
  • Specialist support to the operations
  • Financial control
  • Transition management

The term will be for a period of five years with mutual options to extend up to a further period of five years. The fuel farm must be operated as open tanks.

The procurement will run to the following timetable with suitable suppliers being able to express an interest and provide a proposal through its e-tendering system In-Tend by Tuesday 4th February 2025 at 4pm.

The anticipated timescales for this procurement are as follows:-

Expressions of Interest/Tender Deadline – 4th February 2025 at 4pm

Site Visits – 30th and 31st January 2025

Tender Deadline – 4th February 2025 at 4pm

Feedback by BRS on Submissions – 14th February 2025

Best and Final Offer Submission Deadline
– 21st February 2025

Intention to Award – 11th March 2025

Contract Start – June 2025

Contract Term – Five years with an option to extend for up to a further five years.

"Companies must be able to demonstrate that they currently or have recently operated an Aviation Fuel Farm in a major UK Airport. We also welcome bidders who are interested in forming a consortium of partners within a Joint venture.”
