GKN Aerospace Filton wins at Bristol and Bath Apprenticeship Awards

The award was given at a ceremony on Sunday night, with the Filton Training and Development team taking to the stage to collect the trophy.
Mike Platt, General Manager Filton and Western Approach said: "This award shows our continued commitment to supporting apprenticeships and is great recognition of GKN Aerospace as an outstanding employer in the region.
"Congratulations to all the team who have helped maintain our success in these awards and, of course, the many excellent apprentices we have here at GKN Aerospace - Filton."
GKN Aerospace Filton and Western Approach currently have 94 apprentices being trained through its Advanced, Technician and Higher apprenticeship schemes, bringing the total number of apprentices trained since 2009 to 158.
