Lucideon appoints Richard Goodhead as Chief Marketing Officer

Richard Goodhead, former Senior Vice President at Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace and an expert in marketing and business development for products and services based on complex technologies, has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer of Lucideon, bringing more than 25 years of industry experience to his new role.

The appointment is a key investment in talent for Lucideon, a development and commercialisation organisation (DCO) specialising in materials technologies, including for the aerospace sector.

Richard will lead Lucideon’s marketing activity across all international touchpoints. The company, based in Staffordshire, has offices in Cambridge, UK, alongside facilities in Switzerland, Austria, the Far East and the US, with offices and laboratories in North Carolina, South Carolina and New York.

Richard, who has also worked in Formula 1, as well as specialist consultancy services, has an MA in Engineering from Cambridge University and an MBA.

He holds a Private Pilot’s Licence, is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of both The Royal Aeronautical Society and
The Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Richard said: “I’m delighted to be joining the Lucideon team at a really exciting point in the company’s story. The potential for further success is enormous and I am hugely looking forward to playing my part in realising that.”
