Serco makes strategic capability appointments for Asia Pacific region

Serco Asia Pacific today announced the appointment of Andrew Henry as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Kelly Van Nelson as Managing Director for Operations, for the Asia Pacific region.

The two strategic capability appointments reflect a continued business growth strategy for the division which included the acquisition last year of the Facilities First company and development of a dedicated Facilities Management Business Unit as well as the expansion of Serco’s managed workforce capability.

Andrew joins Serco with an extensive background in finance, commercial and operations management across a broad range of sectors in Australia and abroad. Prior to joining Serco, Andrew held senior management roles in infrastructure maintenance, construction, energy, mining, defence, water, PPP and telecommunication industries. Andrew was previously Chief Commercial Officer of Ventia.

Kelly has significant experience across go-to-market workforce transformation solutions including MSP, RPO, BPO, and Onsite Models, workforce planning, recruitment and operations. Kelly is a published author and a well-respected leader in the business community having been named a 2020 CEO Magazine Managing Director of the Year finalist and 2020 Telstra Business Women’s Award NSW Finalist (Medium and Large Enterprise). Kelly was previously Managing Director of Adecco.
